Another village celebrating the birthday of the birthday of the prophet Mohamed. They are pounding rice to get it out of it's husk. And people are bringing offering to pay for promise that they have made through the year. For example, if I recover from my sickness I'll give a chicken during the celebration of Mohamed's birthday.

This village is a mix of animism, (the worship of spirits), Hinduism, and folk Islam.

Putri is in yellow. She did what she had decided to do even in the face of some trouble and God is blessing her faithfulness!

Another new baby girl! When her umbilical cord falls off they will officially name her. Her dad can't decided on a name he likes.
