We got to go visit some friends on the big island to the north of us.  Although there is another theory, when people used to say "the Boogie man will get you" that saying came from here.  These are Bugis people.  They've lived on the water and been sea farriers (pirate) for hundreds of years.

 They still build their houses on stilts.

 All held in place with pegs so the houses can be taken down and moved.

 Hector had the CHE training over the week of Thanks Giving and Journey and I went along.

 We had lots of fun while daddy studied. :o)  She loves collecting flowers.
