On Sunday we went for a drive, "walking walking."
Every body's got a watter buffalo.  And they decided to race them.  I tried to talk Hector into bringing one home to live in our broken fish pond in our front "yard."  He didn't go for it... I still don't have a buffalo of my own. :o)
They remove the plow, still sometimes used to plow rice fields, and the racers stand on the wooden runners.

This guy is the jockey's assistant and it's his job to chase the buffalo out of the starting line screaming.
 Just good clean fun! :o)
We then continued our trip north.  This island is so beautiful.

And on the way home we stopped along the side of the road to enjoy the view and a grilled corn pick nick.
