10 years ago we were all teammates. 10 years, 2, husbands, 3 islands, and a heard of kids later....
Someone asked me to take a photo of my house... this is our sweet little house!

extra bedroom and where we watch tv. also the ladder to get to the loft.
This is the kid's room. We have 5 people and 4 bedrooms but all three kids share one bedroom, so we have two guest rooms.
"Her baby already came out." "I didn't know she was going to have a baby!" "Do you want to go see her?"..... And that's how I came to wonder "What am I doing here?!" and "Only me?!!!"
These photos are from the next day. I'll print them for her so she'll have some photos. But back to the story, (most of which I heard when I stopped back in the next day). The mom said my belly really hurts, it's like this kid wants to come out. She sent her five year old to find help but there was a wedding parade and most neighbors went to watch. And then this kid made her arrival in the bathroom floor.
Not that long ago home births were common but now the government fines people who do not go to the village clinic (I hope this mom will not get that fine) because of dangerous superstitions practices (cow dung rubbed on the umbilical cord to protect them from spirits). But mom's can deliver in the morning and be home by afternoon. (That's what I thought had happened.) So three of us go in and see the mom and sweet little bundle but then the midwife comes back and still had some stitches to make!!! While us neighbors just hang out with everybody in the living room!!!!
Ibu Nani and Pak Hasan's replacement tree surprise! She had always wanted a during tree and finally got one! Then one morning the whole tree was gone! So friends got together and sent over a replacement!
