This is a "bajai" and it's one way to get around the capital.

This is the capital city, I'm back in the right country but not home yet. I walked by Harley-Davidson and Ferrari on the way to the mall.

This is the kid of places I normally go out to eat at, but since I've had some time away from home I've gone out to fancy restraints like Subway, McDonald's, A&W, and Burger king. :o)

I just realized that I can upload photos with lightning speed here! This is what my "home" looks like.

My "niece" and I.
This cute little boy is doing a dance for me.

This little girl is afraid of me and afraid to have her photo made, she too cute not to take a photo of but I had to do it fast befor she burst into tears.

More beautiful sweet brown faces!

I'm feeling a bit more right side up. I got my visa and will go back to the right country today. Not home yet, I have to make a stop for several days in the capital. It's another big city but no one follows the rules there so I shouldn't be able to get into any more trouble. :o)

Ok, I'm in Singapor... feeling a bit upside down. (And I don't know what's going on with my coumputer or how to gt this photo right side up.)
I was trying to take a phot of the cross walks, becasue people use them. This is one of the cleanest cities in the world. It's illigal to chew gum, it's a S$500 fine for eating or drinking in the subway station. And I just got in trouble for not flushing the tolit. (I looked for a handel, and then assumed it was an automatic one... it wasn't and I was told clearly that I had forgoten to flush...) I feel like such a hick and I'm trying not to get arested or fighned for anything.
I'd like to take some more photos but I'm afraid I'll do something wrong. There was a large sighn forbiding photos to be taken in front of one building. And I must look as lost as I feel, the guy that watters the flowers on the side of the road told me where I could get rice for S$4. I was looking at S$18 burger with S$5 drinks... I went to McD's instead S$6, for a supersixed quarter pounder with cheese.

This is one family of Iraqi friends. They are refugees that left Iraq 3 years ago. They are moving today to a city near the capital and hope to be relocated to Australia soon after. Pray for them as they move again and as they get ready to move to Australia. Pray that people who know HIM will take them under their wing and that they too will find freedom and safety in HIM.

I've gone to a wedding, been a judge for a cooking contest, and seen a rainbow in the last two days. I just noticed that it was a double rainbow and all the food was good.

I went to a village about an hour from my house to see a traditional dance. It's called Rudat and is a war dance. They all look like Michal Jackson impersonators.

Side note about "jam karet" (rubber time). When someone says it starts at 5 and ends at 7, don't believe them. This thing started at 9 and we escaped at 11. I got home sometime around 1am.
And after 2 hour or so trying to attach a 15 second video, without success. Here are a few photos.

Another one bites the dust! The poison worked on this one. :o)
