Another village celebrating the birthday of the birthday of the prophet Mohamed. They are pounding rice to get it out of it's husk. And people are bringing offering to pay for promise that they have made through the year. For example, if I recover from my sickness I'll give a chicken during the celebration of Mohamed's birthday.

I had just gotten back in the US after 2 years being in Java and on my first Sunday, in a new city, a big chunk (the drive shaft) of my dad's jeep feel off in the church parking lot. I had Daddy's jeep because mine had died and had to be taken home to be fixed. Mr. Kenneth and some others came to the rescue. I stayed at that church for the 2 1/2 years I lived in that city and found out how great Mr. Kenneth and, his wife, Mrs. Betty are.
Please stop now and pray for them. Mrs. Betty found out this week she has cancer. Surgery is being scheduled for next week followed by radiation. Let's form a rescue party and go with them before our Father the Great Physician.
